I am a graduate student in the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, University of Toronto and at the University Health Network.

About

In my work, I aim to take a critical lens to questions at the intersection of human-computer interaction and healthcare.

The subject of my master's thesis (in-progress) is equitable representation of structurally marginalized populations in usability evaluations of health technologies.

Previous to my graduate training, I started my engineering career in semiconductors before pursuing software engineering roles at digital health startup, League, and then at the ecommerce company, Shopify.

At League, I worked on products that helped people engage with their health everyday. At Shopify, I worked on projects that helped people exercise their data privacy rights regarding their data held by Shopify. I also worked on improving the behind-the-scenes systems that ensure the company's compliance with privacy regulations.
